Info-session "Dinner with Your Future"

Renée Green, Feb 5th, 2010, Everyone

Hi E-Grads!

UCLA’s School of Engineering has numerous mentorship programs that need your help for 1 day next month in the Spr’10 Quarter.

In 2d Week on April 6 is UCLA’s ongoing mentorship series, “Dinner with Your Future”. Undergrads who attend need you there for questions they have about graduate school.

Dinner served.

This is a great opportunity in its 3rd year for undergraduate students to contact grad students, faculty, and alumni to learn whether grad school is right for them. The evening is for networking in a casual question-and-answer setting.

Please join this Info-session. The event is seeking both a broad diversity of fields and the right number of volunteers.

DATE: Tuesday, April 6, 2010 TIME: 6:30pm - 8pm PLACE: De Neve, at the Private Dining Room

Success of the event depends on your volunteering, along with fellow grad students who want to share their time with prospective candidates for Graduate School. You will be asked to share your grad school experiences.

Participants enjoy a full dinner. The event is entirely held at the De Neve Private Dining Room (351 Charles E. Young Dr). Click here for campus map.

There is limited space. To take part you must be among the first to apply from your field to be considered. You are invited to apply by MIDNIGHT, FRIDAY MARCH 19, at http://tinyurl.com/yzh99fo. Submitted responses will be rated, and we will inform all entrants invited to participate by Sunday, March 28.

Should you have any questions, kindly contact Renee Green.

This event is hosted by Engineering mentorship programs AIChe, ESUC, MRS, SAE, SWE, TBP, and UPE, in assoc. with the Engineering Grad Students Assocation (EGSA).

Best Regards,

Renée Green UCLA Engineering Futures http://bruinegsa.org
