Consequently, a new Meet and Great event has been created for this purpose. In the event, we’ll provide lunch for interested students who would like to become an officer and join the EGSA family.
Community Outreach Director and Secretary, Vanessa, reported on her volunteering at a High School’s Science Fair and through this interaction a new opportunity for students to get involved helping high school students has emerged. More information on this resource/opportunity in the weeks to come. Stay tuned.

This meeting is an update on previous meeting’s minute. We discussed the new action items for the last purchases of the lounge renovations. Including the announcement of a survey to be sent out to the students to get feedback about what items should be placed in the Study Area of the Lounge.
Some discussion was in regards to the GSA Forum of last night and how we should start to take advantage of the discretionary funding as well as services that are provided by GSA for the general graduate students. For example, the Graduate Student Resource Center should try to serve the Engineering community much more intimately.
Lastly, there’s urgency to sign forms and get the logistics finalized for funding and payments of purchases.
